<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device displaying an image in a 3-dimensional view mode and a multiple image display mode. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a display panel with a plurality of pixels; a control circuit causing the display panel to display the image; and a micro lens array. The plurality of pixels are grouped into a plurality of unit pixel groups in which two pixels or more adjoining together in a first direction, and two pixels or more adjoining together in a second direction different from the first direction, are set to one unit. The micro lens array is arranged in an array form, by associating one micro lens with one unit pixel group. The control circuit displays the image in the 3-dimensional mode and the multiple image display mode. In the 3-dimensional mode, the control circuit performs control in such a way that the video information which is viewed in 3-dimensional mode when a view point is moved to the first direction, is supplied to each pixel in the unit pixel group. In the multiple image display mode, the control circuit performs control in such a way that image information in which a plurality of images with no correlation of 3-dimensional viewing are observed when the view point is moved to the second direction, is supplied to each pixel of the unit pixel group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
