PURPOSE: A therapeutic agent for treating atopic dermatitis containing purified silicate mineral is provided to ensure excellent healing effects without side effects. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a therapeutic agent for treating atopic dermatitis comprises: a step of collecting and pulverizing silicate mineral; a step of removing heavy metals and harmful ingredients contained in the pulverized materials; a step of sterilizing at 320-400°C for 1-3 hours and naturally drying the resultant; a step of removing impurities contained in the resultant; and a step of mixing with distilled water and maturing. The purified silicate mineral contains 50-60 wt% of SiO_2, 10-20 wt% of Al_2O_3, 5-10wt% of Fe_2O_3, 0.1-5 wt% of CaO, 1-5 wt% of MgO, 1-5 wt% of K_2O, 0.1-5 wt% of Na_2O, and 0.01-1 wt% of P_2O_5.
