The cage (1) has two side walls (2) provided with a roller body guide (3) and mutually connected and folded with each other along longitudinal edges of the side walls through a flexible region. A latching unit is latched in a functional position, and dome-shaped holders (4) i.e. ring-shaped beaded rim, is provided in the roller body guide. The holders are formed in such a manner that a rolling body is pressed in a flat mounting position of the cage in the holders of the roller body guide. The holders protrude from an edge section of the roller body guide. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a roller body cage.
