<p>A method for scheduling pairs in a plurality of pairs of devices for pair communication in a telecommunication network, each of said pairs of devices comprising a transmitter and a receiver, said method comprising, for a coordinating device in the telecommunication network, the acts of allocating a different time interval to each of the transmitters of said plurality of pairs for emitting training signals, said training signals allowing determining channel estimates; obtaining channel information from at least one receiver, comprised in a pair of the plurality of pairs, having received training signals emitted by at least one of said transmitters, said channel information being determined by said receiver by analysis of said at least one received training signal, said channel information comprising at least one channel estimate of a channel between said receiver and a transmitter having emitted said at least one received training signal; and scheduling for pair communication, in the same time interval, the pairs of a set of pairs in the plurality of pairs for which a quality indicator verifies a predefined criterion, said quality indicator being determined using channel estimates obtained from receivers of the pairs in said set.</p> |
