PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and control method thereof are provided to perform optical charge in case a specific module of a mobile terminal is inactive in order to improve the use convenience. CONSTITUTION: A solar cell module(192) changes detected light into electricity. A battery module(194) charges electricity from power source including the solar cell module. A controlling unit(180) controls the solar cell module in order to perform optical charge of the solar cell module in an inactive state of the module. |
