PURPOSE: A broadcast receiver and a system and a method for providing a mobile-phone home mode service based on a network are provided to implement a necessary function by being combined with a device. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting receiver receives a home mode request signal. The broadcasting receiver transmits an authentication request signal to a neighbor mobile communication terminal(S103). If the terminal is authenticated, the broadcasting receiver is connected through a wireless network protocol(S105,S108). A mobile communication terminal relays the connection of the broadcasting receiver and a BS(Base Station) server. The broadcasting receiver transmits and receives an SMS(Short Message Service) message(S109).
