Microneedle devices are spray coated by nozzles which jet dispense dots onto the individual needles of a microneedle device from a spray nozzle which is angled with respect to the plane of the microneedle device. An angle of between 70° and 45° is preferred and can be achieved by providing the microneedle devices on a support which is inclined at 20° to 44° to the horizontal and using a spray nozzle with a vertical axis. |
