PURPOSE: A bridge cross apparatus and method are provided to transport a heavy material across the river without separate reinforcing construction. CONSTITUTION: A bridge cross apparatus comprises a base box(200), main girders(100), joint beams(300), hilman rollers, guide bars(400), loading beams(500), and reinforcing beams(600). The base box is installed in the road and the upper plate of a bridge and supports the main girder. The main girders are arranged opposite to each other in the longitudinal direction on the upper surface of the base box. The joint beams are provided on the upper side of the main girder and guide the movement of a heavy material in the longitudinal direction of the bridge. The hilman rollers are interposed between the joint beams and the main girder and allow the movement of the joint beams. The guide bars connect the joint beams in the longitudinal direction of the bridge. The loading beams connect the joint beams and support a heavy material to be moved. The reinforcing beams are located between the main girders. |
