A cigarette box having a box body (2) that receives an inner pack for filter cigarettes and has a take-out opening (4) in its upper surface and also having a slide lid (6) capped on the upper part of the box body (2). The slide lid (6) is allowed to reciprocate in the width direction of the box body (2) so as to open and close the take-out opening (4).
