The invention relates to welding processes, in particular to welding and facing (restoring) made of high carbon steel, e.g. stamps, rolling mill rollers, railway wheels, rails etc. A flux comprises flux-forming components: fluorite concentrate, rutile concentrate, soda ash, calcium silicate and alloying components: ferromanganese, ferrotitanium, chromium, molybdenum powder, wherein the latter are used in a nano-size state in the following ratios, wt, %: 12.0-22.0 - fluorite concentrate; 13.0-23.0 - rutile concentrate; 2.0-7.0- soda ash; 2.5-4.5 - calcium silicate; 0.5-1.0 - chromium; 4.0-8.0 - ferromanganese; 1.0-3.0 - ferrotitanium; 0.2-0.3 - molybdenum powder, iron powder-remaining. The welding flux cored wire of the claimed composition provides high strength of faced metal (high wear resistance) with appropriate strength and plastic properties, having high welding and technological characteristics. |
