摘要 The invention herewith described refers to the current sensor and magnetic field probe on the principle of Faraday Effect and belongs to the field of fibre optic measurement systems and in particular refers to the fibre optic current sensor and/or magnetic field sensor on the principle of Faraday Effect. &Dgr;/&Sgr; normalization is carried out by using exclusively the polariser, thereby the probe is repeatedly decreased in its dimensions. Thus realized the probe eliminates the interference resulting from fluctuations in the strength of the light source and the interferences due to the vibration and bending of the optical fibres. The solution with the polarisers is possible to apply to the reflection probe where the light passes two or more times through the Faraday crystal thus optically increasing the response of the sensor.The problem of the optical activity change caused by the temperature, with the reflection probe does not exist because the optical activity is, as a reciprocal effect, abolished. Therefore it is possible to use the Faraday crystal that possesses optical activity without disturbing the temperature-dependence of the sensor response.
