The invention herewith described refers to the test bench for testing brake linings in full size which is used for testing brake linings of motor vehicles and trailers according to the requests for providing conformity of brake linings of the same size as on the vehicle without the use of inertia to simulate load. The test bench consists of an electric motor (1), a reducer (2), a periflex coupling (3) and a brake support (4).Functional characteristics of the bench, and according to the requirements for providing conformity of the brake linings, are achieved and relate to:a) the ability to provide, with an adequate choice of the electric motor (1) and the reducer (2), that the angular velocity with the applied load does not change compared to the angular velocity with no load.b) universality, i.e. possibility of using the test bench for testing brakes and brake linings in the right proportion, or the same size and shape as on the vehicle; the universality is achieved by making an adequate brake support.
