The invention relates to a practical realization of an effective prophylactic composition using available and safety components which can be recommended for preventing development of skin moniliasis and/or mucous cover in humans being in risk group: suffering with diabetes, blood diseases, immunodeficiency and other severe pathologies, patients after hormonal therapy, antibiotics treatment, chemotherapy, and also for infants and pregnant women; for people with dental prosthesis. The composition for prophylaxis candidosis comprises active components such as xylitol (0.3-20.0 wt%), and sodium or potassium salts of alginic acid or a mixture thereof in the amount of 0.01-2.0 wt% and also inert components. |
