The invention herewith described refers to the hydro power plant gate which has the novelty that it consists of the impeller blades (1), the axle (2), the supports (3), the hollow chambers (4), the cross girders (5), the column (6), the lever (7), the couplings (8, 10, 16), the multiplier (9) of number of revolutions, the generator (11) for electricity generating, the steel wire rope (14), the drum (15) for steel wire rope (14) winding, the worm gear reducer (17) and the base (13) for the worm gear speed reducer (17).The impeller blades (1) are made of steel sheet and welded to the axle (2) that passes through the holes on the sliding bearings in the supports (3) which are welded to the cross girders (5). The cross girders (5) connect two opposite hollow chambers (4) made of thin steel sheet and provide for the impellers to be always on the surface of a river. The lever (7) is made of steel sheet with one end welded to the cross girder (5} and the other end is connected by the steel cable (14) with the drum (15). Through the hole on the lever (7) passes the column (6) made of a steel tube and dug in the river bottom.When the worm gear reducer (17) wounds the steel wire rope (14) on the drum (15), this pulls the lever (7) rotating around the column (6) and so opens the hydro power plant – gate allowing the river traffic. When we want to close the hydro power plant – gate, the worm gear reducer (17) unwinds the steel wire rope (14) from the drum (15) and the watercourse closes the hydro power plant - gate. The worm gear reducer (17) base (13) is dug in the bank of the river.The watercourse rotates the impeller blades (1), the axle (2) of which is joined by the coupling (8) with the multiplier (9) where the number of revolutions is increased in order to generate electricity in the generator (11).The length of the hydro power plant – gate can be increased indefinitely, depending on the width of the river, by adding the same segments that are joined by bolts and the axles (2) connected with couplings. |
