The swing base has a part provided in direct contact with devices or installations to be insulated, and another part fixed at a standing surface e.g. table, floor and shelf, of the devices or the installations. The parts are connected with each other by a steel cable (D) that is inserted into a height-adjustable cover (C) such that the devices or the installations are suspended in the swing base. The steel cable has a ball bearing (E) at an end, where an outer ring of the bearing forms a force-fit connection with a base unit.
