A connector block 10 for terminating the insulated conductors of a first data cable and a second data cable, comprises a plurality of slot arrangements 12, 14 arranged in series along a common side of the connector block 10, a plurality of insulation displacement contacts 20 and a plurality of cable managers 26, 28. Each slot arrangement 12, 14 include two slots 16 spaced apart by a first distance. Adjacent slot arrangements 12, 14 are spaced apart by a second distance. The slot arrangements 12, 14 are separated into first and second groups that are separated by an isolation gap having a third distance. The third distance is greater than the second distance, which is greater than the first distance. The insulation displacement contacts 20 have bifurcated contact portions, which partially extend into the respective contact portions of the slots 16 and are used to terminate the insulated conductors. The cable managers 26, 28, 32, 34 are used to locate the cables in fixed positions for presentation to the respective groups of slot arrangements 12, 14. The cable managers 26, 28, 32, 34 are formed integrally on the respective sides of the connector block 10. Each cable manager 26, 28, 32, 34 includes a lug 38 that extends outwards from a side surface of the connector block 10 and a flange 40 coupled to an end of the lug 38. The flange 40 is substantially parallel to the side surface of the connector block 10.
