<p>The device comprises a conveyor (3) for bringing grape crates (2) near a mouth of a press, a unit for hooking a crate, a unit for reversing the crate above the mouth, a unit for leaving the crate for hooking another crate, and a retractable gripping unit (50) disposed at an end to grip the crate. The hooking and reversing units comprise an abutment unit, and tilting arms (5) pivotally movable along a vertical plane perpendicular to a direction of shifting of crates and outside the space occupied by the crate during its discharge. The end is supported on the abutment unit. The tilting arms regain its initial position from the tilting of the crate, and are arranged in parallel and pivotally mounted on the same axis. The abutment unit is pivotally and coaxially movable with the pivoting axis of the tilting arm. The gripping unit consists of levers mounted at an end of the tilting arm by pivoting along an axis parallel to the pivoting axis, where free ends of the levers are able to move towards or away from a pivot axis of the tilting arm operated by a motor (52) including a hydraulic cylinder. The gripping unit and the abutment unit are able to grip multiple crates. The free ends of the levers are connected by a bar capable of contacting the crates.</p> |
