<p>The present invention refers to an improved solar water heater which has an electric backup for providing the user a continuous flow of hot water regardless of the weather conditions and which vertical cylindrical shape is useful for integrating a cold water container and a hot water container in a single compact arrangement which works at atmospheric pressure and which incorporates, within the device, a reflector in a north oriented position, this facilitating the direct reception of the solar radiation which is reflected in the 360° of the solar collector through the daylight hours, being more efficient in the months in which the sun inclination is higher due to the vertical position of the solar collector. The purpose of the invention is to provide a novel type of solar water heater totally different from those currently available on the market since it has a novel inner and outer construction, which main advantage is that the design is simplified in a single element mostly made of affordable recycled materials, which may be commercialised at a cost lower than that of current solar heaters.</p> |
