A method of sending at least one type of control information in a wireless communication system, an apparatus, a method receiving at least one type of control information in a wireless communication system, and machine processor-readable medium having instructions thereon to perform the methods of sending and receiving are disclosed. The method of sending at least one type of control information in a wireless communication system, implemented by an apparatus, comprises: (a) determining at least one type of control information being sent; (b) determining a structure of a control channel based on operating configuration, the structure being used for mapping control information to resources for the control channel; (c) mapping the one type of control information to the resources for the control channel based on the structure; and (d) sending the one type of control information on the resources.
