The system has a rain detector controlling automatic control of windscreen wipers in the event of rain and manual sweeping function to be activated by a lever i.e. toggle switch. The lever includes an unstable position for activation/deactivation of the automatic wiping function by pulse with duration greater than a time interval determined as preliminary and satisfying a swapping threshold of the windscreen wipers by pulse with duration lower than the time interval determined as preliminary.
