The method involves fixing wedges (60) on contour of grooves (40) of a structure of a motor vehicle or of an opening frame, and depositing an adhesive cord on the contour of a glazing pane. The glazing pane glued on a face of a zone of the grooves is transported. A contact of the glazing pane is set with the wedges. The glazing pane is plated against the wedges. The wedges are dimensioned to ensure bracing function between one groove and the glazing pane and to traverse the groove and the glazing pane without inducing modifications on a level of the depositing process of the cord. An independent claim is also included for a wedge bracing.
