Device and procedure for filling bags with food

The device has a linear stirring unit distributing a solid food in a storage hopper (2), where a dosing chamber (4) is placed below the storage hopper. A side of the chamber is bordered by two cylindrical units that are connected with each other by a peg. The chamber is positioned in a middle position between loading and unloading positions. A filling hopper fills a foil bag with a preset quantity of the solid food. An independent claim is also included for a method of filling foil bags.
