<p>The invention relates to a continuously controllable alternating current source intended to be employed in electrical engineering and energetics laboratories. According to the invention, the controllable source consists of a single-phase jacketed magnetic core (1), mainly comprising a central column (1') and some side columns (1'' and 1''‘), the cross section of the side columns being half the cross section of the central column, on the side columns (1'' and 1''‘) there being placed the following windings: two primary windings (2 and 3), each of them being divided into two identical mobile sections (2', 2'' and 3', 3'', respectively) located at the ends of the side columns (1'' and 1''‘) with a certain gap therebetween, and two short-circuit mobile secondary windings (4 and 5), each of them being mobile on the corresponding column and occupying, at the extremities, positions which are concentric with the sections of the corresponding primary windings.</p> |
