The element (1) has lower horizontal sills (3) comprising plates (4) that are utilized for locking the element with a vertical tube of a ladder element of a unitary shoring tower. The plates comprise perforations (7-11) to receive horizontal sills or wind-bracing diagonal brace fixation elements to connect the plates with a plate of a vertical tube (2) of a guard rail or an adjacent unitary shoring tower. The plates are turned toward outer side of the unitary shoring tower. Connector rods (5, 6) are inserted into vertical tubes of lower and upper ladder elements. An independent claim is also included for a unitary shoring tower comprising two guard rail elements.
