Described are improvements in a self-contained heater, which consist in providing means for improving the intake of solar energy and means for substantially extending the conservation time of the heat captured by the solar heater; also provides mobile means which position is changed with regard to the heater stage: the stage of capturing the solar energy or the stage of conserving the heat. Said means may be manually or automatically moved.
