The extraction of water from air comprises generating a flow of atmospheric air and cooling the air in the generated flow in a condenser channel, wherein condensing water is blown, by the generated flow, along the condenser channel so as to produce turbulence in the generated flow and so as to disperse some of the condensing water in said flow. The condensate is discharged from the condenser at intervals of a set length along the condenser channel.
