PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material composition and a lithium ion battery, having high affinity to a binding material, capable of securing sufficiently a strength and close contactness between an electrode active material and the binding material, and capable of attaining low resistance.SOLUTION: This electrode material composition contains the electrode active material with a surface coated with a carbonaceous coating film, a conductive substance, and the binding material, and the binding material contains a vinylidene fluoride copolymer prepared by copolymerizing vinylidene fluoride and a monoester of unsaturated dibasic acid. |
