PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal storage material structure having a more excellent thermal storage/heat release property (hydration/dehydration amount) as compared with the conventional while ensuring strength.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for the chemical thermal storage material structure includes a mixing step for mixing the granular chemical thermal storage material with a clay mineral having a layered ribbon structure, and a calcination step for calcinating the obtained mixture while controlling at least one of a calcination temperature and a calcination time such that silicate containing at least one kind of alkaline earth metal, i.e., a reaction product of the chemical thermal storage material and the clay mineral is formed at a ratio that variation width of at least one (in terms of mass) of a hydration amount and a dehydration amount when the thermal storage/heat release reaction is performed after calcination becomes large. |
