PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-crystal silicon solar cell as a see-through type solar cell, wherein a thin film light conversion layer is high-crystallinity single crystal silicon.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the single-crystal silicon solar cell includes a step to implant at least one of a hydrogen ion and a rare gas ion into a single-crystal silicon substrate, a step to form a collecting electrode pattern on a transparent insulating substrate, a step to form a transparent resin layer to embed the collecting electrode pattern, a step to expose the collecting electrode pattern and to closely contact the ion implanted surface of the single-crystal silicon substrate and a surface of the transparent resin layer on the transparent insulating substrate such that the collecting electrode pattern touches the single-crystal silicon substrate, a step to bond the two substrates by hardening the transparent resin layer, a step to mechanically exfoliate the single-crystal silicon substrate by imparting impact on the ion implanted layer to form a single-crystal silicon layer, and a step to form a pn junction in the single-crystal silicon layer. |
