PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily introducing a 9,10-bis(benzoxazol-2-yl)anthracene structure into a main chain or the like of a polymer, which structure can give fluorescence to a product.SOLUTION: There are disclosed a new compound having two amino groups, i.e. 9,10-bis[4(or 5)-aminobenzoxazol-2-yl]anthracene which can introduce a 9,10-bis(benzoxazol-2-yl)anthracene structure into a downstream product such as a polymer, and a method for producing the same from an anthracene-9,10-dicarboxylic acid or an anthracene-9,10-dicarboxylic acid dihalide, and a 2-amino-4(or 5)-nitrophenol as starting materials. |
