FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming instrument making for production stamps application of letters on metals plastic in cold deformation, including gold, platinum, silver, palladium and their alloys. Proposed method consists in stamping marks with their recesses and ledges in work piece metal layer negative relative to artwork on article surface. For this, counterpunch with marks applied on its surface is used. To apply marks on counterpunch surface, punch with recessed and elevated marks identical to those on stamp is used and produced by computer-aided machine engraving. For production of stamp, punch and counterpunch billets made from cutting metals, plastic in cold deformation, are used. After relief images are made on their surface, they are subjected to tempering to hardness of cutting metal. ^ EFFECT: higher efficiency, simplified process. ^ 3 cl, 1 ex |
