PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium wherein coloring tone difference of a recording part due to light source difference is small, coloring tone difference of the recording part due to applied energy difference is small and recording density is high.SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium has a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye and a coloring agent, on a supporting body, wherein the leuco dye contains at least a first leuco dye such as 3-di(n-butyl)amino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, a second leuco dye such as 3-diethylamino-7-(N, N-dibenzylamino)fluoran, a third leuco dye such as 3, 3-bis(4-diethylamino-2-ethoxyphenyl)-4-azaphthalide, a fourth leuco dye such as 3-[2, 2-bis(1-ethyl-2-methylindole-3-yl)vinyl]-3-(4-diethylamino phenyl)phthalide and a fifth leuco dye such as 3-diethylamino-6, 8-dimethylfluoran. |
