PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide accurate information on waiting time for charge, with queuing taken into consideration.SOLUTION: A controller 30 of a device 20 for providing information on the waiting time for charge includes a vehicle identification information detecting unit 31 for detecting an incoming vehicle 11 and acquiring its identification information, based on a picked-up image of a vehicle sensing camera 21; a charge request information acquisition unit 32 for acquiring the battery capacity, a residual amount, or the like, of the incoming vehicle 11 via a communication device 22; a time required for charge calculating unit 33 for calculating the time required to charge for the incoming vehicle 11; a queue-for-charge monitor unit 36 for monitoring the entering and exiting of vehicles 12 that are charged and vehicles 13 waiting for charging, based on the image picked up at each charging stand 10 by a vehicle monitor camera 24; a waiting-time total charging calculating unit 35 for charging, by adding a total of time necessary to charge for the vehicles 13 waiting for charge to remaining time for charging of the vehicles 12 being charged at the respective charging stands 10; and a display control unit 37 for displaying the total waiting time for charging for each of the calculated charging stands 10 on an entrance guide display device 23. |
