PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter apparatus which allows a user to recognize the clogging state of an element in the filter apparatus used in a flow passage of a fluid, from outside and informs replacement time of a filter by detecting the clogging state of the filter, and to provide an application apparatus.SOLUTION: In the filter apparatus (10), a discharge flow passage (32) provided in a cap part (20) is extended vertically downward and inserted in a hollow part (24B) of the element (24). A gap part (36) is provided between the downside end part (24C) of the element (24) and the downside opening (32C) of an extension pipe (32A), and liquid in the outside (24A) of the element flows into the hollow part through the gap part. When the deposit (40) is stuck on a position corresponding to the gap part of the outside of the element, the liquid gets over the deposit and enters the inside of the element and thereby, the water level of the outside of the element is increased and the clogging state of the element is recognized based on the water level of the outside of the element. |
