PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a rod-shaped workpiece capable of quickly cutting two grooves in a rod-shaped workpiece and improving cutting accuracy.SOLUTION: A bearing 23 is provided on a floor surface through a column 22, and an index table 25 is attached to the bearing 23 through a rotation support shaft 24 so as to be rotatable around a vertical axis. The index table 25 has a clamp mechanism 31 for clamping a needle valve 10 as a workpiece W. Rotating tools 14, 15 of a cutting mechanism part 11 approach the needle valve 10 from above and below the index table 25 to be in contact with the outer peripheral surfaces of a small diameter portion 10d and a flange portion 10e of the needle valve 10, and cut two grooves 10f in the needle valve 10 at a time. |
