PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively washing an apparatus for producing bisphenol A with a reduced environmental load which efficiently removes the attachment of bisphenol A to an apparatus over the interior and enables maintenance of a cooling effect, inhibition of rising in pressure difference, and long-term continuous operation of a granulating column.SOLUTION: The method for washing an apparatus for producing bisphenol A which is used in producing bisphenol A in the form of a solid prill by bringing melt bisphenol A into contact with a cooling gas in a granulating column 1 comprises allowing dry ice particles to collide with the contact surface between the cooling gas and an apparatus constituted of the granulating column and/or peripheral equipment thereof.
