PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent freezing in piping and within a device due to transmission of phase change on the surface of the piping to inside of the piping, so as to improve stability of ice making.SOLUTION: In this device for making sherbet-shaped ice by releasing a supercooled state of supercooled water generated by a supercooling device by heat exchange with a refrigerant, on outer peripheral faces of flanges 10c, 10d of a connection flange part 16 of the piping 10 where supercooled water is made to flow, after moisture included in a mechanical jointing part is removed beforehand, the entire circumference is covered with an airtight cover 32. Dry air is filled within the airtight cover 32. Since the moisture present between the flanges 10c, 10d and a gasket 31 is removed beforehand and moreover, dry air is filled within the airtight cover 32, intrusion of water from outside is prevented, and the dry air functions as a barrier. As a result, even if moisture in the air becomes frost 34 and adheres to the outer peripheries of pipes 10a, 10b, transmission of phase change outside the piping 10 to inside of the piping 10 can be prevented. |
