Feminine hygiene pads are provided that include an elongate main pad portion including an intermediate region between forward and rear regions; and a pair of flaps extending laterally from the intermediate region, wherein at least a portion of the intermediate region and the flaps include material having a color for concealing bodily fluids staining the intermediate region and flaps, e.g., black or other non-white color. For example, the color may be similar to the color of an undergarment to which the pad is secured. Optionally, each flap may include tapered side edges and/or may include an outer edge that includes a plurality of arcuate lobes separated by scallops. |
