The present invention relates to a fingernail or toenail care composition and to a nail or toenail care method using same. The fingernail or toenail care composition of the present invention comprises, as active ingredients, phytoncide essential oil and rosin extracted from nut pines, pines, firs or Japanese cypress. In addition, the fingernail or toenail care method of the present invention involves applying the fingernail or toenail care composition of the present invention to the surface of the fingernail or toenail of a user prior to the application of a fingernail or toenail polish, in order to form a protective coating. The fingernail or toenail care composition according to the present invention comprises, as active ingredients, phytoncide essential oil and rosin which are not harmful to the human body. Therefore, the composition of the present invention easily forms a protective coating when applied to the surface of the fingernails or toenails, and blocks harmful substances generated by the fingernail- or toenail-coloring polish and thus effectively protects the fingernails or toenails. The composition of the present invention removes the offensive odors of the coloring polish, and further changes the offensive odors into a natural pine odor to provide users with comfort. Further, the composition of the present invention, in which the content of the phytoncide essential oil and rosin are appropriately adjusted, has superior applicability, drying properties, and adhesiveness, and the coloring polish including the composition of the present invention quickly dries to provide user convenience. |
