Provided is an organic light-emitting element having a high current density during drive time. The organic light-emitting element has: a positive electrode and a negative electrode; a light-emitting layer which is between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and between the positive electrode and the light-emitting layer in the following order, a first functional layer containing a first organic compound, a second functional layer containing a second organic compound, and a hole-transportation layer from the positive electrode. The first organic compound is an electron-accepting organic compound and the second organic compound has a condensed ring or at least 3 aromatic rings.
