The module (1) has three or more parallely arranged absorbent members (6, 7) attached at a support (2). The absorbent members are combined into a shock-absorbing structural unit that is fastened to an object (33) e.g. vehicle, by the support. Each absorbent member comprises a tubular part (15) of an outer pipe (12), and an inner part i.e. deformation piston, with an attenuator, where the attenuator is plastically deformed when the inner part is pushed into the tubular part. The support comprises a carrier (3) i.e. solid block, that is attached at the absorbent members.
