PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To put together images acquired in a scanning area using a plurality of measuring beams in a short time or with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus is configured such that a plurality of measuring beams is radiated within a predetermined length of time on overlapping regions or adjacent regions out of scanning areas of an eye to be examined corresponding to the plurality of measuring beams. The overlapping or adjacent parts in the images acquired using the plurality of measuring beams have high similarities since they have small positional shifts due to the influence of involuntary eye movement or blinks. Therefore, these images can be put together in a short time or with high accuracy.
