METHOD OF SCREENING ENHANCER AND/OR PROMOTER, AND VECTOR, VECTOR LIBRARY, AND ASSAY KIT USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more readily and highly efficiently screening an enhancer and/or a promoter.SOLUTION: The method of screening the enhancer and/or the promoter comprises: (A) a step for introducing an amplifiable vector comprising (a) a DNA fragment to be determined, (b) a gene that is functionally linked to downstream of (a) and encodes a protein to initiate the replication if (a) is the promoter or the enhancer, and (c) a gene that encodes a replication origin sequence recognized by the protein in the (b), to a host cell; (B) a step for culturing the host cell in a condition in which the vector is amplified in the host cell by the activities of the enhancer and/or the promoter of (a); (C) a step for extracting the amplified vector from the host cell; and (D) a step for obtaining the DNA fragment of the (a) from the extracted vector.
