PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for facilitating the initial setting of a wireless communication system.SOLUTION: When a digital camera having a wireless communication function and a wired connection function and a printer are wired-connected (S1001), the digital camera acquires wireless setting information from the printer (S1005) and registers the acquired wireless setting information into a flash ROM. When printing a captured image thereafter, a wireless communication environment is set in accordance with the stored wireless setting information registered in the flash ROM, and the captured image is transmitted to the printer identified in accordance with the wireless setting information.
