PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of fine particles and a fine particle production apparatus, each of which enables achieving continuous ejection of a liquid owing to its ability of continuous driving, thereby which assures extremely high productivity and enables uniformly and stably producing extremely fine particles.SOLUTION: An ejection hole 19 for ejecting the liquid is formed by opening a part of a member constituting a liquid column resonance-generating liquid chamber 18 to which the liquid containing a resin at the least is supplied. A vibration generating means 20 for applying a vibration to the liquid is arranged in the liquid column resonance-generating liquid chamber 18. The vibration is applied to the liquid in the liquid column resonance-generating liquid chamber 18 to form a standing wave through liquid column resonance in the liquid column resonance-generating liquid chamber and the liquid is ejected from the ejection hole 19 formed in a region corresponding to an antinode of the standing wave. Thereafter, the liquid is formed into liquid droplets and the liquid droplets are solidified to produce fine particles. |
