PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect degradation of pixels due to abnormality produced from a peripheral part and the position of occurrence of the abnormality.SOLUTION: A radiation detector 60 includes a detection region 84 wherein a plurality of pixel sections 74 equipped with photoelectric conversion sections 72 which generate charges by being irradiated with radiation and TFTs for reading the charges generated in the photoelectric conversion sections 72, are provided in a matrixlike shape. The detection region 84 is divided into a radiation image region 84A for generating image information representing radiation images and a state detection region 84B provided in the peripheral part of the radiation image region. A control part 92 compares information on the pixels in the state detection region 84B with a predetermined reference value, and detects abnormality produced from the periphery of the radiation detector 60 due to a crack, defective sealing, etc. |
