PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide formulations exhibiting good stability while maintaining fast dissolution in hydrochloric acid, since until now it is understood that the use of aqueous solutions during the production process imposes various problems for drugs that are unstable in the presence of water and an alkaline substance, on the other hand, the prior art clearly teaches that wet-granulation is needed to provide a fast in vitro dissolution.SOLUTION: It has been found that pharmaceutical compositions comprising water-insoluble drugs can be produced and formulated in a manner ensuring fast dissolution in gastric fluid. Advantageously, the production process provides a significantly improved stability, thus resulting in compositions that may have a longer shelf life than conventionally formulated and processed drugs. |
