PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve ignition property in restart of an engine after automatic stop thereof.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas recirculation passage 50 includes: a main passage 51 to which an EGR cooler 52 is disposed; a cooler bypass passage 53 to which no EGR cooler 52 is disposed; and an exhaust gas recirculation valve 51a and a cooler bypass valve 53a switching between a state where the exhaust gas flows through the main passage 51, and a state where the exhaust gas flows through the cooler bypass passage 53. In a time from satisfaction of an automatic stop condition to stop of fuel supply, a PCM 10 performs post injection after main injection of fuel, meanwhile, in a time from the stop of the fuel supply to stop of the diesel engine 1, the PCM 10 controls the exhaust gas recirculation valve 51a and the cooler bypass valve 53a to make the exhaust gas flow through the cooler bypass passage 53, and throttles a throttle valve 36. |
