CHILD SAFETY TAP

The tap handle can be made of any shape or size, it can have the locking teeth in the tap handle (1) as shown in Fig 6 (6) 3 and 6 and safety flippers on stabilizer shaft Fig. 6, but can be reversed so locking teeth are on the stabilizer and safety flippers are in the handle, a spring is mounted between handle and atabilizer (6). When the handle is turned in the direction anti clockwise (on). The handle will free spin with the spring forcing the handle off the hexagonhead (but not limited to the shape of hexagon ) which allows locking teeth to free spin over safety flippers. When handle is depressed Hexagon head on stabilizer (3), (but not limited to the shape of hexagon) is locked in the handle which allows tap to turn on. To turn off tap you do not have to depress handle, just turn in the clock wise (off) direction and the locking teeth will lock on to safety flippers and allow the tap to turn off instantly. (via spring release action).
