PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for a display device, contributing to high-accuracy reading information from the external.SOLUTION: A substrate 50 is disposed opposite to a back substrate 70 having an optical sensor 81. The substrate includes: a base material 51; and an optical filter part 61 formed at a position to confront the optical sensor. The maximum transmittance of the optical filter part for the light with a wavelength of 380-630 nm is 1% or less. The maximum transmittance of the optical filter part for the light with a wavelength of 630-750 nm is 3% or less. The maximum transmittance of the optical filter part for the light with a wavelength of 830 nm is 85% or more.
